The Golden Suns are 2-0 against Henderson State this season. Arkansas Tech defeated the Reddies 70-56 in Arkadelphia on Dec. 6 and 82-73 in Russellville on Jan. 24. Junior forward Fatima Adams averaged 26.5 points and 11.0 rebounds per game against Henderson State during the regular season. The Golden Suns have won 15 of their last 16 meetings with Henderson State. Arkansas Tech has a 4-2 all-time record at the GAC Tournament. The Suns won the GAC Tournament title in 2013. About the Reddies: Henderson State earned the No. 7 seed in the GAC Tournament. The Reddies won three of their final five games to solidify a postseason berth. Senior guard Aungelique Sledge ranks among the GAC leaders in scoring (3rd, 20.8 points per game), rebounding (7th, 7.3 per game) and steals (T-2nd, 2.2 per game). She averaged 24.0 points per game in two regular season games against Arkansas Tech.
