Arkansas Tech began the spring portion of its 2009-10 tennis schedule with an 8-1 victory over Hendrix College in Conway on Thursday.
The Golden Suns won 5-of-6 singles matches and all three doubles matches.
Tech will face Alabama-Huntsville and Christian Brothers in a pair of matches in Memphis on Saturday, Feb. 13.
