Graduate College to Host Q&A Sessions

 

Have you been thinking about graduate school and want to learn more? The Arkansas Tech Graduate College is hosting an informational session today.

The question and answer session will take place in the Doc Bryan Lecture Hall from noon until 1 p.m.

Representatives from different programs and Dean of the Graduate College, Dr. Mary B. Gunter, will be on hand to answer questions from students about the programs, paying for grad school, and why Arkansas Tech Graduate College may be the right choice.

Arkansas Tech offers graduate programs in a variety of fields. The Master of Science degree is available in college student personnel, health informatics, emergency management/homeland security, psychology, fisheries and wildlife biology, nursing administration, and information technology.

The Master of Liberal Arts offers options in communication, fine arts, and social science. The Master of Engineering provides electrical, nuclear, and mechanical options.

The Master of Arts degree includes English (teaching English as a second language and teaching English to speakers of other languages), Spanish, history, multi-media journalism, and teaching.

The Master of Education offers elementary education, secondary education, leadership, and instructional improvement.

Another informational session will be held tomorrow in the Doc Bryan Lecture Hall from 4-5 p.m. The informational sessions are sponsored by the Arkansas Tech Graduate Council.
