Green and Gold Give Back 2024 Planned for Nov. 16

The 2024 edition of Arkansas Tech University’s largest annual day of community service, Green and Gold Give Back, is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 16.

ATU students who are available to serve are encouraged to assemble at the ATU Office of Campus Recreation building at 513 West L Street in Russellville at 7:30 a.m. Groups will be sent to their volunteer locations beginning at approximately 8 a.m.

Approximately 200 members of the Arkansas Tech University community gave of their time to benefit the surrounding area during Green and Gold Give Back 2023.

The ATU volunteers raked leaves and performed similar maintenance projects at 31 households, the River Valley Child Advocacy Center and Brookdale Senior Living Solutions last year.

The project resulted the donation of 782 volunteer hours from ATU to the community.

Green and Gold Give Back was established in 2013. It is overseen by the ATU Department of Campus Life.
