Arkansas Tech University has announced the winners of the green carpet contest.
In the category for Arkansas Tech students, Tech Sweethearts Tang Xiong, Kristen Hardbarger and Destiny Turner (photographed left) are the winners.
In the category for future students and friends of Tech, Claudia and Scott Huse 
take the prize.
The winners of each category will receive a $50 giftcard to the Arkansas Tech University Bookstore.
The next opportunity for members of the Tech family to walk the Green Carpet will be Saturday during Family Day.
Pictures from the green carpet are divided into two categories—current students and future students/friends of Tech. The pictures in each category are placed on the Arkansas Tech Facebook page the Monday after each game, and the photo in each category with the most likes at the end of the week wins a giftcard to the Arkansas Tech Bookstore.
This marks the second year for the competition at Arkansas Tech.
