Arkansas Tech University alumni and friends will tee it up at Russellville Country Club on Friday, Oct. 4, for the 2019 ATU Homecoming Golf Classic.
Proceeds from the tournament benefit the Arkansas Tech Alumni Association Scholarship Fund.
“The Homecoming Golf Classic is a great event because it brings alumni and friends together for an enjoyable day that creates opportunities for the next generation of the Tech family,” said Kelly Davis, director of alumni relations. “So many of us benefited from scholarships during our time as students at Tech, and it is wonderful to see the way that our alumni and friends have supported this event and this cause over the years.”
The day will begin with registration and brunch at 9:30 a.m. There will be an official welcome at 10:45 a.m., and golfers will be sent out for an 11 a.m. shotgun start on the par-71 layout at Russellville Country Club.
The three-person scramble tournament is open to any Tech alumnus or Tech supporter. Cost is $80 per person, and hole sponsorship opportunities are available.
Jason Bull, Dillon Remphrey and Andre Webster fired a 15-under par round of 57 to win the championship flight in the 2018 Arkansas Tech University Homecoming Golf Classic, which was played at Chamberlyne Country Club in Danville.
