The Arkansas Tech University Office of Financial Aid has issued a reminder to students who need summer classes to make up renewal requirements for the Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarship (commonly referred to as the lottery scholarship) that they are responsible for requesting updated summer transcripts be sent to the Arkansas Department of Higher Education (ADHE).
This applies to summer classes taken at Arkansas Tech or any other university or college. The request to send a transcript can be made with the Office of the Registrar of the institution where the student is enrolled. A transcript sent to Tech does not fulfill the requirement to send the transcript to ADHE.
It is recommended that students follow up with ADHE within 2-to-3 weeks after transcript submission if notification from ADHE of scholarship reinstatement for the 2016-17 year is not received.
