Arkansas Tech University student Charisma Lynn Khilling died on Sunday, March 21, 2021.
Khilling, 22, was from Booneville. She enrolled at Arkansas Tech in 2017 and earned a place on the Dean’s List in multiple semesters. A member of the ATU Concert Band, she was on pace to graduate from ATU in May 2021 with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology.
“We are deeply saddened to learn of Charisma’s passing,” said ATU President Dr. Robin E. Bowen. “Arkansas Tech extends its sincere condolences to her family and friends. The ATU Health and Wellness Center (479-968-0329) has counselors available if ATU students, faculty and staff need their services during this time of grieving.”
Visitation is from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, at Booneville United Methodist Church, 355 N. Broadway Ave.
The funeral service is planned for 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, at Booneville United Methodist Church.
