Information for ATU Community in Advance of TOFT

More than 625 high school seniors have registered for Time Out for Tech on Tuesday, Nov. 12.

Many of them will bring parents and other family members with them, so there will be more than 1,000 guests on the Arkansas Tech University campus in Russellville for TOFT.

The ATU Office of Admissions has provided the following information to help ATU students, faculty and staff prepare for Tuesday and the large number of visitors:

  • The south parking lot at Tucker Coliseum will be blocked off all day on Tuesday, Nov. 12, for guest parking.
  • There will be large numbers of visitors accessing Rothwell Hall, Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center, Hull Building Student Union and Chambers Cafeteria West Dining Room for academic fairs from 10 a.m.-noon.
  • Hindsman Tower lawn will host the organization and service fair from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Approximately 100 clubs, organizations and support offices will host booths.
  • Food trucks will be located on the lawn between Dean Hall and Witherspoon Hall from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
  • Dr. Robert Charles Brown and Jill Lestage Brown Hall will host a large number of guests during the afternoon hours, particularly in the ATU Office of Admissions and some of the classroom space on the first floor. Guests may also visit the ATU Office of Financial Aid on the second floor.
  • Doc Bryan Student Services Center room 242, Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center third floor and Rothwell Hall first floor will host various information sessions during the afternoon hours.
