It’s Time to Begin A New Academic Year at ATU

Arkansas Tech University will begin its 115th session by welcoming students and faculty back to campus during the month of August.

Residence hall move-in is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 17. Check-in for all residential students will take place at Tucker Coliseum from 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on Aug. 17.

Orientation for first-year students will take place Aug. 17-20. The program seeks to ease the transition from high school to college student by helping new students become more familiar with campus, learn about involvement opportunities, gain information about campus resources, meet their fellow new students and connect with current student leaders.

Orientation for transfer students is planned for Tuesday, Aug. 20.

The first day of classes for fall 2024 at ATU is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 21.
