Arkansas Tech University hosted 155 robotics teams representing 58 K-12 schools for the 2024 VEX Robotics Arkansas state championships at Tucker Coliseum March 8-12.
The state championships at ATU were sponsored by Entergy at Arkansas Nuclear One.
“A big shoutout needs to be made to Entergy at ANO for being a sponsor,” said Jacob Weidenfeller, ATU instructor of electrical engineering, lab director and advisor for the ATU VEX U robotics team. “They also provided almost all of the Judges for March 11 and March 12. The events were a great success. I’m grateful to be able to host them in Tucker Coliseum each year.”
Twenty-five teams earned an invitation to the 2024 VEX Robotics World Championships in Dallas, Texas, in late April based upon their performance at ATU.
