Arkansas Tech University student Kelsey Stone is the winner of two talent awards following Tuesday night’s preliminary competition at Miss Arkansas.
Stone is the reigning Miss Arkansas Tech University, and she took home the Savvy Shields Alpha Talent Prelim Winner for garnering the most points among first-time Miss Arkansas competitors in her group.
Additionally, Stone went on to win the overall talent preliminary competition on Tuesday.
She performed a piano and voice composition of “Rise Up.” With the two awards, Stone earned $2500 in scholarships from the Miss Arkansas Organization which she will be able to use to further her education at Arkansas Tech.
