Kristen Hayes Wins Miss Tech Crown

  • 1st Runner Up– Chelsea Wilson
  • 2nd Runner Up– Emily Patton
  • 3rd Runner Up– Katelyn Friday
  • 4th Runner Up– Shelby Holland
    • Those receiving special awards throughout the competition included
    • CenturyLink Interview Award– Chelsea Wilson
    • Nona Dirksmeyer Talent Award– Kristen Hayes
    • Swimsuit Winner– Kristen Hayes
    • Miss Congeniality– Jessica Pate
    • Lindsey Ahrens Vocal Winner– Emily Patton
    • Virginia Bachman Scholastic Achievement– Paige Montgomery and Trinity Phillips
    • Sandi Hodges Dance Award– Kristen Hayes
    With the crown,  Hayes will receive  a two-semester tuition scholarship to Arkansas Tech, and she also receives more than $3,000 in gift certificates from area businesses.  In all, more than $19,000 in gifts and scholarships were awarded to those taking part in the pageant.
