The Arkansas Tech University Department of Public Safety will host an active threat response training from 3-5 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, in the Doc Bryan Student Services Center Lecture Hall.
Attendees will learn how humans typically respond in high stress situations, what not to do in an active threat situation and what to do in an active threat situation. There will also be a review of case studies from previous active threat situations in the United States.
Attendance will be free and open to all ATU faculty, staff and students.
