The first event of WonderWeek 2010 will take place this evening, as the Student Government Association is hosting Let’s Make a Deal.
The game show will take place in the Doc Bryan Student Services Building Lecture Hall, and during the game show, students will have the chance to win more than $1,000 in prizes.
The doors will open at 8:30 p.m., and the game show will begin at 9 p.m. Students must present a valid Tech identification card in order to win prizes at tonight’s event.
Tonight’s game show is one of several activities planned as part of WonderWeek. The festivities will run through Thursday, and students will have the chance to win more than $8,000 in prizes throughout the week.
During each event, Tech students will also be able to help the less fortunate in the River Valley. The Greek community will be collecting canned food items during each WonderWeek event. At the end of the week, the collected items will be donated to the Main Street Mission.
The Student Government Association, Student Activities Board, Residence Hall Association and the Greek community are collaborating to oversee the week of events.
