Comedienne Loni Love will perform a comedy tonight on the Arkansas Tech campus. Love’s visit to the River Valley is sponsored by the Arkansas Tech Student Activities Board.
The performance will take place at 7 p.m. tonight in the Doc Bryan Student Services Building Lecture Hall. The event is free for those with a valid Tech identification card.
Campus Activities Magazine named Love as a hot comic in 2009, and Comedy Central has named her as a comic to watch.
In 2007, Love hosted her own program on Comedy Central. She also holds a recurring role on the television show “Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide.”
Love covered the inauguration of President Obama as a CNN correspondent, and she is currently a regular panelist on the program “Chelsea Lately.”
Despite her numerous television appearances, Love says her first love is performing for live audiences because she loves the opportunity to make people laugh.
