The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery director spoke to two Ozark civic groups last week about the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery during a visit to Arkansas Tech University – Ozark Campus last week.
Ernie Passailaigue spoke to both the Ozark Area Chamber of Commerce and Ozark Rotary Club, and he said that not only did Arkansas’s lottery get off to a record start, in just five months it also shot up above more established lotteries in ticket sales.
Passailaigue was at Arkansas Tech University – Ozark Campus to educate community members about the lottery and how it works.
Students can apply for the Arkansas Challenge scholarships funded by the lottery by visiting the state Department of Higher Education’s website.
