Russellville Mayor Fred Teague is bringing his Meeting With the Mayor series of informal receptions to Arkansas Tech University.
Teague will be available from 1-2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, in Chambers Cafeteria West Dining Room. All ATU faculty, staff and students, as well as members of the surrounding community, are invited to the come-and-go event. Light refreshments will be served.
Dr. Russell Jones, ATU president, will be Teague’s special guest for the Sept. 25 Meeting With the Mayor event.
Teague was elected mayor of Russellville in 2022. He and his wife of more than 30 years, Pam, have built three successful businesses in Russellville. Teague is co-founder and executive director of The Russ Bus, an organization that helps local homeless find shelter and stability while learning life skills.
For almost two years, Teague served as director of housing and homeless prevention with ARVAC and he continues to serve as associate pastor of Journey Church. Teague helped launch One Roof, an organization that houses eight non-profits that provide a variety of care and services to the area’s at-risk residents and families, in 2022.
