McArthur to Offer IRS Lecture Friday

Dr. Aaron McArthur

Dr. Aaron McArthur, associate professor of history and public history program director at Arkansas Tech University, will be the Friday, Oct. 25, speaker for the fall 2019 ATU Interdisciplinary Research Series.

McArthur’s talk is entitled “Documentary Editing: The Annals of the Southern Mission.” His presentation will begin at 3:30 p.m. in Dr. Robert Charles Brown and Jill Lestage Brown Hall room 134. All members of the university community are invited.

McArthur is a co-editor of “The Annals of the Southern Mission: A Record of the History of the Settlement of Southern Utah.”

A member of the ATU faculty since 2012, McArthur holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Idaho State University as well as Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy degrees from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is associate professor of history and public history program director at ATU.
