Eligible Arkansas Tech University students interested in learning more about the 2023 Miss Arkansas Tech University scholarship competition are invited to attend an informational session on Tuesday, Nov. 15.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in Dr. Robert Charles Brown and Jill Lestage Brown Hall room 148. Alli Beth King, Miss Tech 2022, will be among those on hand to provide information about registration as well as the responsibilities and opportunities associated with becoming Miss Tech.
It is not mandatory that an individual attend this meeting in order to enter the competition and attending the meeting does not obligate an individual to enter the competition.
The 67th Miss Tech competition is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 10, 2023. Categories of competition will be interview, talent, on-stage interview and social impact/evening wear.
The event is an official Miss America preliminary. Miss Tech 2023 will be a candidate in the 2023 Miss Arkansas competition.
Candidates for Miss Tech must be full-time female ATU students between the ages of 17 and 25.
The new Miss Tech will receive a two-semester tuition scholarship at Arkansas Tech. In all, more than $24,000 in gifts and scholarships were awarded during Miss Tech 2022.
