Arkansas Tech University Fishing Club members Reagan Moore and Evan Barnes finished third in the National Guard FLW College Fishing Southern Conference Tournament on Toledo Bend Lake in Many, La., on Saturday, June 2.
Moore (photographed, left) and Barnes (photographed, right) brought in five fish with a total weight of 10 pounds, 11 ounces.
Moore is a junior emergency management major from Dierks, while Barnes is a senior mechanical engineering major from Russellville.
They finished in the top three of an event that included 41 teams from throughout Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.
Charlie Brown and Matthew McClellan of the University of Texas at Tyler won the tournament with 15 pounds, four ounces.
Angelo State University’s Josh Seale and Ethan George reeled in 12 pounds, 14 ounces to finish second.
