More than 60 students attended an orientation session Sunday afternoon at Arkansas Tech. The Office of Student Services hosted the orientation session to help new students and transfer students learn more about Arkansas Tech.
The students attending orientation had the chance to visit with campus personnel about services available to Arkansas Tech students.
Several presenters also helped students learn more about traditions, academic expectations and campus activities at Arkansas Tech.
Jaime Martin, coordinator of orientation, said the session was beneficial for those in attendance. She added, “The presenters and orientation leaders did a great job facilitating the sessions and answering questions.”
Following the session, the Office of Student Services hosted a dinner for students attending orientation. Organizers say the dinner provided a relaxed atmosphere where students could visit with orientation leaders and other students.
