The artistic effort of one Arkansas Tech faculty member is on display at the Arkansas River Valley Arts Center. David Mudrinich, associate professor of art at Arkansas Tech, is one of 39 artists being featured in an exhibit that is on display at the center.
The exhibit is organized by the Arkansas Arts Council and highlights the work of artists from the Natural State.
Mudrinich’s piece, Valley at 11 p.m., was selected from hundreds of entries to be included in the annual “Small Works on Paper” exhibit.
“More than 300 entries were submitted for this year’s ‘Small Works on Paper’ exhibition,” said Joy Pennington, director of the Arkansas Arts Council. “We were very pleased this year with the variety of work. From contemporary to traditional, there is something that will appeal to everyone.”
The exhibit will be on display in Russellville throughout the month of June. At the end of the exhibit, the piece will be displayed at Hendrix College as part of its permanent collection.
