The game was stopped after seven innings due to the mercy rule. Ryan Taylor (2-2) took the loss on the mound for Arkansas Tech. He was charged with seven runs on five hits in two innings. Game 2: SAU 9, Tech 1 Lead-off hitter Tyler Cameron went 3-for-3 with four runs scored as Southern Arkansas completed the doubleheader sweep with a 9-1 victory in the nightcap. SAU’s Janson Carr (4-1) was as dominant on the mound as Lynn had been in game one. Carr limited Arkansas Tech to one run on five hits while striking out four in a complete-game win. Carver Rademacher, Rucker and Keith all drove in two runs for the Muleriders. Chance Scamardo went 2-for-2 and drove in the Wonder Boys’ lone run. Aaron Johnson (4-3) was the losing pitcher.
