The Booneville Adult Education Center operated by Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus has relocated to 165 N. Broadway in Booneville.
It was previously housed inside the Rockline Industries building.
“We believe this will provide better exposure for the center,” said Regina Olson, ATU-Ozark adult education director, during the ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, Feb. 18. “GED recipients are more likely to continue learning, read more and become financially secure than those who drop out. If you or someone you know is looking to future their education, we are here to assist you.”
GED testing, workforce training and certifications, college preparations and English as a second language (ESL) classes are among the services available at the Booneville Adult Education Center. Most classes are offered at no charge. Financial aid options are available for individuals seeking certifications that have a fee associated with them.
