Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus is preparing to launch two new credentials in business technology.
The new credentials — Certificate of Proficiency in fundamentals of project management and Certificate of Proficiency in fundamentals of small business management — will begin accepting students in summer 2025.
“These programs provide you with the essential skills to confidently manage projects, lead teams and navigate the complexities of running a successful small business,” said Dr. Tina L. Smith, ATU-Ozark vice chancellor for academic affairs and workforce advancement. “Earning these certificates not only enhances your professional credibility. It also opens doors to better job prospects, career advancement and the ability to tackle challenges with confidence. Whether you’re looking to step into a management role or grow your own business, these certificates are your first step toward success.”
The addition of the two new credentials was approved by the ATU Board of Trustees in October 2024 and was subsequently approved by the Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
