Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus has announced three new full-time faculty members who joined the campus effective fall 2020.
Jason Basinger was selected as a full-time faculty member in the practical nursing program. A graduate of ATU, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Basinger has five years of experience in the field.
Randall Colvin, instructor of biology, holds a Master of Science degree in fisheries science from Oregon State University. He is working on a doctoral degree in biology post-secondary education at Auburn University. He has more than eight years of biology teaching experience in Alabama, Georgia, Prince Edward Island (Canada) and Maine. He has mentored numerous undergraduate science-based projects and taught service learning travel courses.
Shelly Koone accepted a full-time faculty position in mathematics. Koone holds a Master of Science degree in mathematics from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Previously employed as a full-time faculty at ATU in Russellville, she is returning to Ozark to work and reside.
