Two senior administrators in the Arkansas Tech University Division of Student Affairs have published research in the fall 2019 edition of College Student Affairs Journal.
Dr. Keegan Nichols, ATU vice president for student affairs, and Dr. Brett Bruner, ATU dean of student engagement, joined Dr. Lisa Baumgartner of Texas State University in writing an entry entitled “The Benefits and Challenges of Peer Mentoring in a Professional Development Opportunity Based on the Assessment, Evaluation and Research Competencies.”
College Student Affairs Journal is published by the Southern Association for College Student Affairs.
Nichols joined ATU as its vice president for student affairs on June 26, 2017. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from the University of Central Arkansas, a Master of Science degree in college administration from the University of Central Missouri and a Doctor of Education degree in adult and higher education from Northern Illinois University.
Bruner has served on the ATU staff since Sept. 4, 2018. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Emporia State University before completing a Master of Science degree from the University of Central Missouri and a Doctor of Education degree from Baker University.
