Arkansas Tech University will celebrate the beginning of basketball season with Night One at Tucker 2024 on Tuesday, Oct. 29.
Free food will be served while supplies last outside Tucker Coliseum beginning at 5 p.m. The party will move inside when the doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the event will start at 6 p.m.
Admission will be free and open to the public.
There will be free T-shirts for the first 200 students with a valid ATU identification card.
Night One at Tucker will include student contests with prizes, a slam dunk contest featuring members of the 2024-25 Wonder Boys, a 3-point contest pitting members of the 2024-25 Wonder Boys against members of the 2024-25 Golden Suns and speeches by head coaches Mark Downey and Dave Wilbers.
The team, organization or student group with the best representation and spirit will receive a spirit trophy.
