Arkansas Tech’s Cheryl Nolan broke the 19-minute mark for a third consecutive race and finished 12th in the individual standings at the Greater Louisville Classic at Tom Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Ky., on Saturday.
Nolan (photographed) covered the 5-kilometer course in 18 minutes, 45.02 seconds. Her performance helped the Golden Suns finish 18th among 34 teams.
Michelle Pollreis (29th, 19:03.74), Kaitlin Bounds (87th, 19:44.48), Lauren Karnitz (191st, 21:18.73), Ashley Perisho (214th, 21:39.08) and Amanda Bradbury (220th, 21:46.40) also ran for Arkansas Tech in Louisville.
The Golden Suns will be idle until they run in the Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival in Fayetteville on Saturday, Oct. 16th.
