The Arkansas Tech University Department of Nursing presented awards to two of its outstanding senior students Friday evening during a pinning ceremony at Westside Church of Christ in Russellville.
Monica Christopher received the St. Mary’s Medical Staff/Wilkins Award for Academic Excellence. The award is presented to the student who has maintained academic excellence throughout the nursing program.
Crystal Woods (photographed) was recognized by her peers with the Student Nurse Award. The award is selected by the graduating nurses and is presented to the student who personifies nursing professionalism throughout the nursing program at Arkansas Tech.
