Amanda Overby has been named program chair for the physical therapist assistant (PTA) program at Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus.
Overby received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Central Arkansas in 2007. Since then, she has worked in several therapy settings in the Arkansas River Valley and provided patients with care.
“I’m excited to utilize my clinical experience to help educate and prepare future PTAs and to continue the program’s success,” said Overby, who resides in Lamar with her husband and two children.
