Dozens of Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus students worked recently to make their community a better place.
In all, 42 Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus students volunteered their time to work on various projects throughout Franklin County as part of the 2010 United Way Day of Caring.
The annual event partners community agencies and non-profit organizations with companies and other volunteers. The volunteers spend the day working with the community agencies and non-profit organizations to complete tasks the groups need assistance with.
The practical nursing class (photographed) was part of the 130 community members in Ozark that participated in this year’s United Way Day of Caring.
