Brittany Piper will appear as a guest speaker at a Sexual Assault Prevention Month event hosted by the Arkansas Tech University Office of Title IX, the ATU Health and Wellness Center and the ATU Jerry Cares program on Tuesday, April 2.
The event is planned for 12:30-2 p.m. in the Hull Building Student Union. Admission will be free and open to anyone with a valid ATU identification card.
Piper is a speaker, activist, rape survivor and leading national expert and advocate on sexual violence prevention and recovery. She is also a forensic neurobiology expert who conducts trauma-informed trainings and programs. Her objective is to empower survivors to heal their past so they can thrive in the present.
