Arkansas Tech University students have an opportunity to enhance their leadership skills and represent the university by serving on the 2016-17 Presidential Leadership Cabinet.
Applications are now available for those students wishing to apply.
Throughout the year, PLC members work with the Tech administration to promote the university to prospective and current students, alumni and friends. Additionally, the students serve as ushers at various university events and host several philanthropic events to benefit the community.
In order to be eligible to apply for PLC, students must meet the following criteria:
- Be a full-time student who has completed at least 12 semester hours at Tech and is in good standing with the school
- Hold a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0
- Be of good moral character
Applications can be picked up in the Office of Alumni Relations in the Alumni House. Access the PLC application form online.
Applications must be submitted to the Office of Alumni Relations by Tuesday, March 15.
In addition to a completed application, students must also complete an interview in order to be considered. Interviews will take place following the application due date.
