High school seniors from throughout the River Valley region attended the seventh annual Preview Day held in the Student Services and Conference Center at Arkansas Tech University – Ozark Campus on Tuesday, April 5.
The annual academic preview day is hosted by the Office of Student Services, and it’s the greatest opportunity for area seniors to learn more about Arkansas Tech – Ozark.
Preview Day allows seniors and their parents to experience several components of college offerings.
Those attending learned about the programs of study available at Arkansas Tech – Ozark and attendees had the opportunity to learn about specific academic programs by visiting one on one with the faculty.
During the event several sessions were planned for students, which included information about financial aid, scholarships, assistance in completing their application for admission, and campus involvement.
“Preview Day is a great opportunity for high school seniors and their parents to see first-hand all that Arkansas Tech – Ozark has to offer. I would encourage any high school senior that is considering the Ozark campus but didn’t have the opportunity to participate in Preview Day to contact us for a personal tour,” says Jessica Birchler, Coordinator of Student Recruitment.
Those attending the event received breakfast and a free t-shirt.
