Arkansas Tech University students are making preparations for the start of the 2016-17 academic year.
Resident assistants began moving in earlier this week and started formal training with the Office of Residence Life Friday morning.
During the training, the resident assistants will learn about their role as student leaders from a variety of Tech personnel.
Some of the topics covered during the training include:
- Programming
- Policies
- Emergency Preparedness
The resident assistants will welcome new students to campus beginning Saturday, August 20.
Returning students may begin moving into the residence halls on at 1 p.m. on Sunday, August 21.
