Arkansas Tech Student Government Association President Roger Norman has announced results of the Fall SGA election.
The following students were elected to serve on the 2011-12 Student Government Association:
- Freshman Senator – Patrick Westbrook, Haley Paquet, Andrew Lawrence
- Senior Senator – Jake Smith
- Senator for the College of Natural Sciences – Hunter Lawrence
- Senator for the College of Business – Hannah Thompson
- Senator for the College of Arts and Humanities – Clay Wyllia
- Senator for the College of Education – Cassie Williams
Additionally, an amendment to the by-laws of the SGA constitution to add a representative from the international student and non-traditional student populations was passed.
The Arkansas Tech Student Government Association is the governing body of the students, and the new senators will begin meeting Wednesday at 12:15 p.m. in the Doc Bryan Student Services Building.
