The Arkansas Tech Student Government Association (SGA) and Volunteer Action Council (VAC) will host a blood drive in conjunction with Battle of the Halls today and Thursday.
The blood drive will take place from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. each day in Room 242 of the Doc Bryan Student Services Building.
Those participating in the RHA Battle of the Halls will receive points for their competition by donating blood.
The blood drive will be through the American Red Cross. Students can make appointments for the SGA Blood Drive by going to www.RedCrossBlood.org and entering ATU as the sponsor code; however, and appointment is not required to give blood.
According to the American Red Cross website, one pint of blood can save up to three lives.
SGA and VAC also need volunteers to staff the drive each day. To volunteer, email SGA at sga@atu.edu.
