The Gulf South Conference basketball doubleheader scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 20, between Arkansas Tech University and Southern Arkansas University has been postponed due to forecasts of inclement weather.
The Tech-SAU games have been rescheduled for Saturday, Feb. 5, at Tucker Coliseum in Russellville. Game times will be announced at a later date.
The nationally second-ranked Arkansas Tech Golden Suns (14-1 overall, 3-0 GSC) and the GSC West Division co-leading Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys (12-3, 3-0) will resume play on Saturday, Jan. 22, with a GSC doubleheader at Delta State University.
Tip-off for the Golden Suns and the nationally fourth-ranked Delta State Lady Statesmen is set for 4 p.m. Saturday, while the men’s contest will begin at 6 p.m. Both games will be played at Walter Sillers Coliseum in Cleveland, Miss.
Fans in the Arkansas River Valley can listen to the Arkansas Tech-Delta State doubleheader on KWKK 100.9 FM.
