Arkansas Tech senior Steven Sola will leave Arkansas and the United States after graduation to serve in the Peace Corps. During his assignment, Sola will work to teach English to students.
Sola, a native of California, will graduate from Arkansas Tech with a degree in sociology. He says he’s excited for the opportunity to fulfill his dream of service. Sola says he looks forward to seeing how he will grow during the two years he’ll be apart from friends and family.
During his time at Tech, Sola has served as an officer for the Student Activities Board. He has also been involved with the Quidditch Club, Alpha Phi Omega and the Vegetarian Club.
