Spring Fest – Friday, April 29

 

Planning is underway for Spring Fest at Arkansas Tech University – Ozark Campus. Spring Fest is an annual event for students and their family to come to campus for a very kid-friendly festival. The fun will begin at 2:00 p.m. on April 29.

Officials from the campus have invited alumni back to attend the event. This marks the ever alumni event for Arkansas Tech – Ozark. Dr. Jo Alice Blondin, Chancellor observed, “we look forward to welcoming our Arkansas Valley Vocational Technical School, Arkansas Valley Technical Institute, and Arkansas Tech – Ozark alumni back to celebrate the changes on campus. It will be a great day.”

There will be food, entertainment, prizes, campus tours and a scavenger hunt. Additional games for all ages include: an obstacle course slide combo, jungle jump and slide combo, joust bungee run combo game, frog safari inflatable playground, carnival high striker game, dunk tank, duck pond, stand the bottle / table game group, rock wall, horseshoes, carnival games and cotton candy.

The grand finale of the day will be a Branson Variety Show by Mike Bliss to be held at the Hillbilly Activity Center at Ozark Public Schools at 6:00 p.m. This show is open the general public and is free of charge. Sponsoring the Mike Bliss show with Arkansas Tech – Ozark is the Franklin County Right C.H.O.I.C.E.S. Coalition.

Following the Mike Bliss show there will be drawings for both students and alumni. Prize drawing gifts include two overnight stays in Branson, Missouri, $100.00 debit cards, a Kindle, and much more.
