Arkansas Tech University alumni and friends will once again have the opportunity to enjoy an evening of baseball and fellowship at the fourth annual Arkansas Tech Night at the Arkansas Travelers.
The event is hosted by the Arkansas Tech Alumni Association and is scheduled for Thursday, July 29, at Dickey-Stephens Park in North Little Rock.
Alumni will gather to watch the Arkansas Travelers take on the Springfield Cardinals. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:10 p.m.
Prior to first pitch, participants will enjoy an all-you-can-eat picnic at Tracks Inn, which is the picnic area inside Dickey-Stephens Park.
The picnic will begin at 6:10 p.m. and will feature a variety of ballpark favorites.
The cost to attend the event is $15 for adults, $10 for children age 10 and under and free for children age 2 and under. Both the pre-game meal and game admission are included in the cost of the event.
Tickets must be purchased in advance, and those wishing to purchase tickets can do so by visiting the Alumni Office website or by calling the Tech Alumni Office at 479-968-0242.
Those purchasing tickets online or by phone will be able to claim their tickets prior to the game on Thursday, July 29.
This is the second opportunity for Tech alumni and friends to enjoy minor league baseball this summer. The Arkansas Tech Alumni Association also hosted a Night at the Northwest Arkansas Naturals earlier this month. See photos from that event.
