Several former Arkansas Tech students will appear in a music video on mtvU. The group Deas Vail, which includes four former Tech students, will have their music video added to the on-air rotation on mtvU.
Each week mtvU hosts a contest pairing artists against one another, and the artist receiving the most fan votes during the week earns the right to have their music added to the list of weekly song selections.
Deas Vail edged out the group Carney in the final minutes of voting last week to win the weekly competition.
Members of Deas Vail include:
- Wes Blaylock—(lead singer) attended Tech and former member of the Arkansas Tech Choir
- Laura Blaylock—(keyboard) attended Tech and former member of the Arkansas Tech Choir
- Kelsey Harelson—(drums) attended Tech and former member of the Arkansas Tech University Band of Distinction
- Andy Moore—(guitar) attended Tech and former member of the Arkansas Tech Choir
