Dozens of students and parents will be at Arkansas Tech University today for orientation.
The orientation sessions are designed to allow incoming students and their parents the chance to learn more about the Arkansas Tech campus.
During the day, students attend several breakout groups on a variety of topics including services available for students, financial aid, housing, Tech traditions and organizations at Tech.
Special orientation programming is also planned for parents to answer questions they may have about the collegiate experience.
The student sessions are led by current Arkansas Tech students, and organizers say students attending the sessions will be able to connect with upperclassmen and other students attending orientation. See which students will be leading orientation sessions.
Following today’s sessions, there will be four remaining summer orientation sessions offered.
Sessions are offered the following dates:
- Monday, July 16
- Monday, July 23 to Tuesday, July 24
