Nearly fifty participants are spending part of the week at Arkansas Tech University learning more about a career in veterinary science.
The students are taking part in the 4-H Vet Science Camp, which is sponsored by the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture Research and Extension Office.
Hosted by the Arkansas Tech Department of Agriculture, the camp is designed to help students understand what it takes to be a veterinarian.
During the camp, the students also receive hands-on experience work with several animals at Arkansas Tech.
