Hundreds of Arkansas Tech University students are better protected against the flu thanks to a clinic by the Arkansas Tech University Health and Wellness Center.
During the two mass clinics, 800 Tech students were able to receive a free flu shot.
Arkansas Tech faculty and staff may receive their free flu shot on Wednesday, Oct. 14, from 8 a.m.-noon and 3-6:30 p.m. in the W.O. Young Ballroom. Dependents covered under Arkansas Tech’s group insurance plan are also eligible to receive free flu shots at the Oct. 14 clinic.
The employee flu shot clinic is made possible through a cooperative effort between the Arkansas Tech Office of Human Resources and Saint Mary’s Regional Health System.
