The Arkansas Tech campus is filled with activity this morning, as students are heading to the first day of spring classes.
For many students, the first day includes a class in the new academic building. Cameron Johns (photographed left) is one of the first students to attend classes in the facility. Johns had an economics class in the building Monday morning.
Many students returned to campus Sunday afternoon when the residence halls opened. Students returning Sunday had the chance to purchase books, as the Arkansas Tech Bookstore was open for several hours Sunday afternoon.
Bookstore officials will be open late several days this week so that students can purchase books. Visit the bookstore website.
When students aren’t in class, many are stopping by Student Accounts and Financial Aid to pay fees and pickup refund checks.
Students will have until Friday to make final changes to their schedule. Friday is the last day students are able to add courses or change sections of a class for the spring term. To see a list of important dates for the semester, visit the Office of the Registrar website.
