Several Arkansas Tech students recently traveled to Memphis to visit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The current Up ‘Til Dawn board, next year’s board and the 2010 winning team traveled to Memphis last week to tour the facility.
Members of the Delta Zeta Sorority team collected the most love points throughout the 2010 competition, which is how they earned the right to participate in the trip.
As part of the tour, the students visited several parts of the hospital including research buildings and a patient wing.
Up ‘Til Dawn is an annual effort at colleges and universities across the country to raise money and awareness for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
This is the fourth year Arkansas Tech students have participated in Up ‘Til Dawn, and Arkansas Tech students collected $8,187 for the hospital.
