Arkansas Tech University earned one victory and suffered one defeat during a two-match Great American Conference volleyball visit to Oklahoma on Friday and Saturday.
The Golden Suns (13-8 overall, 6-3 GAC) defeated Northwestern Oklahoma State University 25-13, 25-19, 25-15 in Alva on Friday.
Allie Anderson notched 13 kills in the win, while Hunter Eshnaur and Tabitha Spray contributed 12 kills apiece. Emily Acker made 38 assists for ATU and Meredith Darnell recorded 11 digs.
Southwestern Oklahoma State won four of the final six points of the match to defeat Arkansas Tech 25-22, 20-25, 25-17, 25-27, 15-11 in Weatherford on Saturday.
Eshnaur made a career-high 24 kills. Spray and Anderson finished with 13 kills apiece. Acker had 49 assists and Darnell was credited with a career-high 29 digs.
The Golden Suns will host Oklahoma Baptist University at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 12, and Southern Nazarene University at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13. Both matches will be played at Tucker Coliseum in Russellville. Admission will be free.
